ABOUT THE SKIN:
It is believed that the “eyes” are the window to the soul, and the skin is the window to the “heart”. Skin is also the largest organ in the body and it can be underlying your health. One of the main functions of the skin is to protect the body from external harmful such as free radicals and bacteria that can damage the healthy cells and impact the health of the skin.
Your skin is the first thing that people see, so make your first impression your last. Maintaining a healthy complexion is a lifetime effort. Following are the suggestions to have a healthy, radiant, and younger-looking complexion:
Avoid:
The direct sun causes the free radicals from the UVR to damage the skin DNA and cells, dehydration, and premature aging. Medium tone skin gets dark pigmentation as the UVR stimulates the production of monocytes and causing the overproduction of melanin.
Dry heat such as dry sauna, dry air, dry cold, cigarette smoking, chemical inhalation all cause skin dehydration and premature aging.
An unhealthy diet such as processed foods, refined sugar, canned foods, deep-fried saturated fat food, excess alcohol use, prolonged use of medications, all these factors long-term can adversely affect the health of the skin and the liver as well.
Use herbal facial products that contain no chemicals.
Provide:
Healthy daily nutrition including fresh organic vegetables, and fruits, nuts, grains, salmon fish, omega-3 fatty acids, herbal tea, decaf organic black or green teas.
Exercise any kind that your body and your mind feel comfortable. Walking in nature or greeny areas is best recommended.
Drink at least 8 -10 glasses of pure water a day, this amount of water depends on the body weight.
Between 7-8 hours of the night sleep.
Meditation, aura, and chakra cleansing at least three times a week.
Herbal or fruit stem cells organic facial cream along with facial acupressure massage and movements to flow oxygen.
Facial steam 10-15 minutes once a week.
Facial herbal steam once a week. Apply fresh organic yogurt mixed with either smashed strawberries or peaches and apply over your entire face and neck, steam with herbs such as parsley, chamomile, or fennel for 15 minutes, follow with Minoo organic fruit stem cells serum and Minoo organic fruit stem cells anti-wrinkle cream. For oxygen flow and circulation, finger press the cream into the skin for five minutes.
WHAT IS WRINKLE OR PRE-MATURE AGING?
As we age many tissues are cross-linked and make the protein lose its flexibility therefore some undesirable chemical bonds interconnect the molecules in the skin. The result is loss of flexibility and the increase of tendency to tear.
Factors that cause premature aging or wrinkles:
1- Free radicals: Studies by dermatologists have been shown that free radicals are the major cause of skin premature aging, they estimated as much as 70 percent of age-related skin damage caused by free radicals from UVR. They damage the healthy cells, causing oxidative stress this may activate enzymes that break down collagen and damage the DNA cell membrane causing premature aging.
What are free radicals?
Free radicals are molecules that contain one or more unpair electrons, these unpair electrons are highly unstable and they easily react with other stable molecules and causing chain chemical reactions. They attack the nearest stable molecules and steal their electrons to stabilize themselves, when these molecules’ electrons are stolen, the molecule that the electron was pulled from turns into free radicals.
Free radicals are produced in the body or enter the body from environmental sources, they are linked to aging and internal diseases. When free radicals enter the body from environmental sources such as direct sun exposure, radiations, and prolong inhalations of carbon monoxide, smoke from cigarettes, and household chemicals, if the body defense mechanism is low to counteract those unstable molecules then they destabilize the molecule that electron was stolen from and turn that molecule into free radicals and causes break down the protein in the skin such as collagen and damage the DNA cell membranes and premature aging or wrinkle. To set aside free radicals or minimize the damages from free radicals, you should increase your body’s defense and immune system by taking antioxidant vitamins every day.
What are antioxidant vitamins: anti-oxidants are strong molecules that have abilities to react with free radicals and terminate the chain reaction before molecules are damaged. They neutralize free radicals by giving or taking electrons that are unpaired without making themselves unstable. To prevent premature aging one must have a healthy diet rich in antioxidant vitamins, they will increase the body’s defense and immune system, thus prevent or minimize the potential damages from free radicals. Antioxidants are found in vitamin A (beta-carotene), vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, and folic acid.
Antioxidant vitamins can be found in green leafy vegetables, fruits, and vegetables that are yellow, orange, and red colors, the darker the color fruits and vegetables the stronger antioxidants they contain, seeds, nuts, and grains. Drinking enough purified water, and exercising every day can also minimize the potential damages from free radicals.
Free radical steals the skin vitality, and youth, they can also cause skin cancer.
Heat: Dry heat, dry cold, dry sauna. The direct sun causes dehydration and premature aging that is resulting in stealing the skin’s vitalities and youth. If one needs to receive vitamin D3 from the sun, the best way is to spend 10 minutes a day sitting and facing one’s back to the sunlight to receive the sun’s energy for natural vitamin D3 and serotonin production.
Diet: Unhealthy diet that causes skin dehydration such as refined carbohydrates, saturated fats, processed foods, excess use of alcohol and lack of drinking water, fresh fruits, and vegetables.
WHAT IS ACNE:
Acne is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the sebaceous glands characterized by pustules, and cysts.
The problems often appear during adolescence when hormones are changed, emotional stress, or having a poor diet.
WHAT CAUSES ACNE?
1- Stress hormone: Sebaceous glands produce an oil called sebum that usually maintains skin lubrication. The problem often appears during adolescence usually from age 13-20 when the hormone is changing, during emotional stress when cortisol hormone (cortisol hormone is referred to as stress hormone) becomes imbalanced, and the production of sebum increases. The excess of sebum oil will accumulate under the skin and become thicker thus preventing it to reach the skin surface and causing impurities and then acne.
2- Free radicals: are unstable molecules that have unpair electrons they try to steal electrons from healthy molecules to stabilize themselves, free radicals can enter the skin from UVR, chemical pollutions, or carbon monoxide, they can destroy the collagen, damage DNA cells, and also cause acne.
3- Diet: poor diet such as too much greasy foods, refined carbohydrates, canned and processed foods eventually toxify the liver. The liver supplies blood to the skin, and the blood that supplies from the liver to the skin, comes from the foods that are eaten, then after digestion goes to the bloodstream to the liver then liver filter the blood from the bloodstream and send that blood to all organs including the skin for nourishment. Prolong an unhealthy diet, excessive use of alcohol, and smoking cigarettes can toxify the liver, toxified liver can supply unpure blood to the skin therefore if the blood is not clean it will negatively affect the health of the skin.
Recommendations:
To protect the skin from getting acne, one should avoid eating processed foods, refined carbohydrates and deep-fried saturated fat foods, alcoholic beverages, soda, and too much caffeine. Instead one should have a diet rich in antioxidant vitamins including organic fresh fruits and vegetables, salmon fish which is rich in omega-3, grains, nuts, plain steamed brown rice. At least 8-10 glasses of water,( this amount of water depends on the body weight), 2 big glasses of warm water to be taken at least an hour before breakfast, and the rest of the water during the day. Fresh juices such as carrot juice, beet juice, and pomegranate juice are rich in anti-oxidant vitamins and blood purification power to prevent acne. Vitamins such as 5000 IU vitamin A, 1ooo mg of vitamin C, 400 IU vitamin E, and 15 mg of zinc daily. Zinc can mobilizes the store of vitamin A from your liver, and it eventually goes to the blood for healthier skin, vitamin E helps to balance the sex hormone. Make herbal tea with burdock root and dandelion for blood purification, licorice, and borage for hormonal balancing and chamomile, peppermint for nerve relaxant.
Exercise: Daily exercise or walking is the key to sustain the health of the body and its skin. Meditation, aura, and chakra cleansing at least three times a week are necessary for mind and body relaxant. Energy healing may also control acne.
